Can this be chewed?

Short answer is: yes. Our harnesses are meant to be used for exercise, but not intended for continuous wear. Although some of our customers prefer to leave their harnesses on all the time, this is not something we recommend.

• BUT if the HARNESS is chewed in a single spot, we will repair it for a $6 shipping fee.

Will it make my dog walk if they don’t already?

Our harnesses will not encourage dogs to walk who are unwilling. Our no-pull harnesses are specifically designed to discourage dogs with a pulling habit from dragging their handlers.

Will it break?

The harness is 3000lb tensile strength, which is enough to pull a car. This means the harness material will not break under normal wear and tear conditions.

Will this work on animals besides dogs?

Absolutely! We have outfitted lots of other animals and are always up to the challenge of trying to fit new ones.

Non-canine owners of our no-pull harnesses include: pigs, goats, sheep, racoons, small llamas, and one miniature pony.

Will this adjust to my dog as it grows?

If your pup gets a little fat, the belly loop does in fact adjust, but for puppies we recommend checking out our [PUPPY PROGRAM] for a grow-with-you membership to ensure you and your pup have the best walk ever from day one!

Will this hurt my dog?

Our harnesses are specifically designed to discourage pulling habits without pinching or pressure on your dog’s throat or shoulders. Most other harnesses can cause long-term damage to your dog by jerking their head down or crushing their windpipe.

The Best Walk Ever is designed with your dog’s safety in mind, with no pressure on the neck or shoulders, no pinching around the throat, and no jerking the head down, all of which cause damage in the long run.
